Update

Kelly continues to do very well. He has started driving again and is working out at the gym several times a week. He has also started to do a couple of 30 minute massages several times during the week. He is trying to build his strength and endurance back to where it was previously. He is still having some numbness and tingling on his left side of his body. So really that is the only prayer request we have, everything else is just a praise report! I'm attaching some photos we had taken this weekend.

going home

Julie,

We came home from the hospital today and everything is going great! A few nurses and therapist have referred to Kelly as the "walking miracle". Please continue to pray that his healing continues.

Praise report!!!

Mari just called and Kelly went through surgery with flying colors. The doctors said he did great. Mari was about to go in and visit him.. We praise you Lord!!!

Surgery today

Kelly's surgery is scheduled for 3pm tomorrow. It is supposed to last around 1 1/2 hours. Just as a precaution they will have him spend the night in ICU. The doctor said he looked great today and that he was just a miracle. Please continue to pray for him as God continues to heal and restore him.

Praise report!!!

Tuesday the hospital called and asked Kelly to come in for another cat scan. When he went in the Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor was there as well. Their concern was the drip in Kelly's nasal area. It was gone. WooHoo!!! They tried to get Kelly's nose to drip, having him hang his head between his legs and it would not. After about 20 minutes and Kelly getting a headache they decided all was well. To God be the glory!!! Surgery is still scheduled for the 15th and the ENT will attend in case he is needed. We're believing with the Dunn's that the drip is resolved and the replacement of Kelly's forehead will go smoothly. Pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors.

Surgery postponed

Spoke with Mari and the doctors have decided now to postpone the surgery until the 15th. The ear, nose, and throat doctor will not be available until then. Let's all be in prayer for the Dun's as they walk towards total restoration in Kelly's body.

Surgery update

Talked with Mari today. They went in for a cat scan and the doctor opted to hold off on the surgery until Wed. Kelly has had a drip from his nasal passage and the doctor feels that it is brain fluid leaking. They are seeing a ears, nose, and throat doctor to confirm. They will want to make sure they take care of this when they are putting the forehead bone back in. Pray for the doctors to have wisdom, and surgery to be successful. Kelly and Mari have been at the hospital a big portion of the day. Kelly is tired. Pray that Kelly gets rested up for the surgery. We serve a mighty God.
Mari also said she hasn't called lately because no news is good news. Kelly has continued to get stronger every day and is recovering amazingly. Pray for total provision. They had hoped to have the surgery this year so as not to have to meet the deductible for the new year.
